Iron Wolf Rock Crushing

Make the most of
your land

Rocky land has stopped a lot of good projects in the Texas Hill Country. Limestone slabs, caliche, and surface rock can make a building pad, driveway, or ranch road feel impossible before the first shovel hits the ground. At Cactus Creek Land Clearing, we now offer on-site rock crushing and milling services powered by the IronWolf RRS-01 Crusher, a purpose-built attachment that grinds surface rock down and turns it into usable base material without ever hauling it off the property.

This is a different kind of solution. You don't need a demolition crew, an excavator, a haul truck, and a separate grading contractor. One machine handles the job from start to finish.

What the IronWolf RRS-01 Does Heading

The RRS-01 is a rock-crushing head mounted on a wheel loader or a track dozer. It cuts up to 12 inches deep and comes in either an 8-foot or 10-foot working width.

Our crusher grinds slab rock, limestone, caliche, and other consolidated material directly on site, producing a processed base that can be used immediately for roads, building pads, driveways, and other applications.

IronWolf built this machine around a simple idea: one pass up, one pass back. That efficiency keeps large projects moving, reduces equipment costs, and eliminates the time and expense of hauling rock away and bringing base material back in.

Why This Matters in Hill Country and West Texas

If you've tried to develop land on the Edwards Plateau or anywhere across Central and West Texas, you've run into rock. It's everywhere. It sits just below the surface, or right on top of it. It makes grading slow, breaks standard equipment, and adds cost to almost every phase of a project.

Most of the time, landowners either work around the rock or pay to remove it. Neither option is ideal. Working around it limits what you can do with the property. Hauling it off costs money twice: once to remove it and again to bring in base material from somewhere else.

The RRS-01 changes that math. The rock that was stopping your project becomes the material that finishes it.

What We Can Do With It

Driveway and Ranch Road Construction

Our crusher grinds existing rock in place and produces a compactable base that holds up well under traffic. It's a cost-effective way to build and improve roads on properties where surface rock would otherwise slow the whole project down.

Building Pad Preparation

A solid, level pad is the foundation for a home, barn, shop, or any other structure. When rock sits in the way, getting to grade is a fight. We crush the rock on site and leave behind a prepared surface ready for the next phase of your build.

Caliche and Limestone Processing

Caliche is one of the most common obstacles on Central Texas properties. It's hard, layered, and wide. The RRS-01 handles it efficiently, grinding it down into a workable base that can be shaped and compacted without a separate haul operation.

Fire Break Clearing Over Rocky Ground

Fire breaks are critical on dry Hill Country and West Texas land, but rock can make cutting them difficult. Our crusher opens fire break corridors through rocky terrain that would stop a standard mulcher cold.

Site Clearing and Preparation

Whether you're developing a residential lot, a ranch headquarters, or a commercial site, surface rock is often the first obstacle that has to go. We process it on-site so your project can move forward without the delays that come from traditional rock removal.

One Machine. One Pass. Less Overhead.

The biggest advantage the RRS-01 offers is simplicity. Traditional rock removal involves multiple pieces of equipment, multiple contractors, and multiple trips on and off the property.

Our crusher handles the job in a single operation. The material stays on site. The project stays on schedule.
